Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month and start at 7:00pm.

Come join us to talk about photography and meet others who share your passion. Share your knowledge and talent or learn something you didn't know. All skill levels are welcome.

The August meeting will be held on Wednesday the 10th at the Anderson County Library. This is a change from our usual Thursday night meeting. In fact, the next two meeting will be held on Wndesdays (August 10th and September 7th, before returning to Thursday on October 13th.

Please note the change in Day, Time and Location for our April meeting. Due to the beginning of the Anderson Block Party season, the Thursday April 14th meeting is being changed to Tuesday April 12th at 6:00, for our Downtown Photo Outing.

We will meet in the courtyard of the Court House at 6:00 pm, and break up into groups of 3-4 and go in different directions. We will meet up again at 8:00 and dismiss for the night... or continue to hang out and talk like we always do.

Then we will plan to eat at The Fox for any that want to stay.

The February meeting was very well received, we look forward to seeing you March 10th at 7:00pm at the Anderson County Library.

Theme: "You Make Me Feel", images that express emotions or feelings, or convey a feeling to the viewer.

We will also have a special guest speaker at this month's meeting - Bill Robertson. Mr. Robertson lives in Greenville, and has a great talent for Nature photography. Many of his photos can be see around the Greenville Hospitals and other area businesses.

Due to scheduling conflicts at the library we have had to rearrange our meetings. Here is a look ahead at our next three meetings. The meetings will be at the Library from 7:00 until 8:30. We hope to see you there.

September 9th
Theme: “Abstract” highly edited or visually abstract, 2 images

UPDATED - October 28th
Theme: “Capture the Action”, anything in motion, 2 images

November 18th
Theme: “Fantastic Foliage”, 1- macro image, 1- landscape

We will be having our August meeting at the Anderson County Library on Thursday August 12th from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.

The theme this month is Hot and Cold. Bring two images, one that represents Hot and one that represents Cold. You can bring them on a USB drive, or if you want to e-mail them to me, I can bring them for you.

The July meeting will be Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 7:00pm at the Anderson County Library.

The theme for the evening is Vacation Photos. Bring and old vacation photo and a new vacation photo.

We met at 7:00pm at the home of Bob Stanford. There were 11 people in attendance.

We opened the meeting with a brief discussion of our proposed by-laws and passed out copies for everyone to read.

We discussed several upcoming photo opportunities and possible outings.

Clark Webb spoke for a few moments about previous photo clubs he had been in, and shared some of what worked in those clubs and what didn't.
